If your consuming 2000 calories a day, but only burning 1500, you will gain on average about 1lb a week. To keep your body trim, it is important that your burning enough calories. Here we will advice you on how to burn those extra calories.

Try to do weight training in the gym, For every lb of muscle you have, your body will burn 50 extra calories a day. Try to do atleast 20 mins of weight training 3 times a week. Not only will you burn more calories, you'l look great too. Eat little and often Try having 5 small meals a day rather than 3 heavy ones. But don't hit the high fat and sugar snacks, have a healthy option instead! Move more Try walking to work, or take the stairs instead of the lift! Eat spicy food Some studies show, that after eating spicy food, such as chillie, your body can burn up to 50% more calories after consuming it! Swap your fatty latte for green tea!
Studies show that green tea can speed up your metabalism , as can coffee. Just remeber not to add sugar or milk to keep it low calorie! Aerobic exercise Try to do high intensity interval training such as spinning or sprints, as your heart rate is varying, it will speed up your metabolism, and will burn calories for several hours after exercising too. Try doing high intensity training 3-4 times a week to keep you trim!
